The same chart looks different on every timeframe.

A 1-minute timeframe shows noise. A daily chart shows structure. A weekly chart shows the big picture. The same stock can look like a clear trend on the daily and choppy back-and-forth on the 1-minute.

Higher highs on the daily.

The TREND label marks the consistent direction. That same price action on a 1-minute chart would look like random chop. The timeframe you pick determines which patterns you can actually see.

The same trend, tighter structure.

Zoom in and the CHANNEL becomes visible: price bouncing between two parallel rails. A trader on this timeframe sees entries at the lower rail. A longer-term trader sees just the overall uptrend.

  1. The 1-minute signal
  2. The daily trend
  3. They cancel each other out

B. The daily trend. Higher timeframes carry more weight. A bullish 1-minute signal inside a daily downtrend fails more often than it succeeds.
